Dr Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, visited the Ghazaleh ambulance in Matrouh governorate today as part of her inspection visit. in a number of medical institutions of the governorates of Matrouh and Alexandria, as part of the comprehensive medical insurance plan for Eid Al-Adha.
Dr. Khalid Mujahid, advisor to the Minister of Health and Population, media relations and spokesman, said the minister had asked Dr. Amr Rashid, vice president of ambulances, to start implementing the construction plan of ambulances located outside cities, especially ambulance housing, to 30%. Over the course of a year, he thanked the center's employees for their prompt response to citizen calls, confirming their pride for their national role.
Mujahid added that the minister had inspected one of the ambulances and reviewed the drugs and medical supplies contained therein, with the aim of speeding up the drafting of a law on medical services and outpatients in front of hospitals, to enable ambulance teams to provide the best services and to criminalize the misuse of ambulance services and facilities, ambulances or single line.
For his part, Dr. Amr Rashid, vice president of the authority in charge of ambulances, made sure to improve the readiness of all the facilities of the ambulance during the period of the Eid, ensuring that ambulance teams are willing to provide the best ambulance service to the citizens.
The Ministry of Health announced the comprehensive health insurance plan, which includes the payment of 2227 equipped ambulances, which will be distributed at public gatherings, parks, gardens, mosques and prayer areas of all the governorates of the Republic, as well as 10 river ambulances and two helicopters on motorways and major centers. In addition to enhancing the readiness of all ambulance facilities, to prepare as much readiness as possible in all hospitals and to cancel all types of leave for medical teams during the celebration.
