KUWAIT – Kuwait's Minister of Health Bbadel Al-Hamoud Al-Sabah will attend the second meeting of the Arab-Chinese Health Forum scheduled for Beijing from August 16 to 18, the ambbadador said on Sunday. from Kuwait to China, Samih Johar Hayat.
Ambbadador Hayat told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that many health sessions and workshops would be taking part in this joint meeting of health ministers or their representatives in Arab countries and the Chinese part.
He stressed that most of the topics and issues on the agenda of the launch of the meeting (Beijing Declaration) on cooperation between Arab countries and China in the field of health for 2019.
Ambbadador Hayat said the meeting will discuss health policies and cooperation in the area of public health between the two sides and means of innovation in the health sector and medical technologies, as well as cooperation in the fields of traditional medicine and hospital management.
He added that the visit of the Minister of Health in Beijing was an extension of the reciprocal visits of officials from both countries to Kuwait and China, highlighting the historic visit of His Highness Amir Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al-Jaber al-Sabah during his historic visit to Beijing in July 2018, during which he announced the strengthening of strategic relations between the two countries. .
He added that His Highness's visit to China and its fruitful results "opened doors for cooperation between the two countries to the dead" in various fields and at all levels, where the capital has attended many visits of senior officials Kuwaiti, led by the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Sheikh Nbader Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Saber Al-Sabah.
In this context, Ambbadador Hayat underscored Kuwait's desire to participate in high-level delegations to various activities, events and meetings, particularly in the Chinese capital Beijing and in all major Chinese cities.
