The Saudi Ministry of Health has launched robotic technology for medical consultations between doctors, hospitals and health centers in Mina and mobile convoys

"The Ministry of Health has launched a new technology using the robot robot for medical consultations between doctors from hospitals and health centers in Mina and mobile convoys during the Hajj season," the ministry said in a statement.

The ministry explained that modern technology makes it possible to consult doctors from any part of the kingdom and to virtually access any Mina hospital. It also allowed them to move autonomously within the hospital to the patient's bed.

According to Saudi newspaper Okaz, doctors in Riyadh and Jeddah have been trained to use new technologies to serve Rahman's clients.

The Robo Doctor includes built-in features such as a stethoscope, special cameras for scanning the eyes and ears, a special camera for skin examination and other tools allowing doctors to diagnose cases and provide telemedicine.

The robot is also equipped with a high resolution camera that can carry the image with high clarity and quality, allowing the doctor to read clinical signs and indicators, including X-rays.

The introduction of the service is a qualitative addition to the temporal and spatial response time of practitioners and facilitates the provision of the best possible service in all health facilities, wherever they are.

The eHealth team works tirelessly to provide and monitor the development and operation of these possible online systems and services, to provide safer and better services, and more efficient performance.
