LONDON (Reuters) – Liverpool international star Mohammed Salah has won a new international trophy, crowning his illustrious season with the Reds after winning the title of best player in England in 2018 on the FSF. With over 366,000 fans, at a ceremony in London on Monday.
The 26-year-old surpbaded teammates Virgil van Dyck, Sergio Aguero and Rahim Stirling, both Manchester City, Eddin Hazard of Chelsea and defender Harry Maguire of Leicester City.
"Thanks to this award, it matters a lot to me because it comes from the vote of the fans," commented the Egyptian player Mohamed Salah. "I usually participate in all the rewards with my team and the club officials, but on this occasion, I would like to dedicate them to my fans Liverpool for their wonderful support."
Salah is the third Liverpool player to win this award in 2013, after Luis Suarez, Uruguay's first winner, and Brazil's Philippe Coutinho in 2016.
