Monaco suspends Thierry Henry for team training
PARIS, Jan. 24 (Xinhua) – The French club Monaco has announced in a brief statement that the former French football star and current coach, Thierry Henry, had been suspended for training.
Henry, 41, took up his coaching duties last October at the start of his coaching career.
The team has not improved since the invasion of the French legend. The French team now occupies the second place in the Ligue 1 standings.
Monaco lost five goals in Strasbourg against Strasbourg in their last match, and before the match against Metz, who plays in the second division with three goals against the goal of the Coupe de France, which apparently led the club to stop the leadership of the team.
After Henry's suspension and the possible dismissal of the team, the name of former coach Leonardo Gardim, winner with Monaco in the 2017 championship, was badociated with returning to the team's head.
The Monaco coach Franck Pbady "will train the professional team from Friday," Monaco said in a statement.
