BERLIN (Reuters) – Borussia Moenchengladbach scored three goals in 15 minutes to claim 3-0 at Stuttgart on Sunday and regain second place in the Bundesliga after a fourth win in the last five games.
Rafael and Florian Nuehaus scored twice in the 69th and 77th minutes to set the stage for Monchengladbach before Frenchman Benjamin Bavard beat France 6 minutes from time.
This is the tenth consecutive win for Mönchengladbach at home.
The owner lost several chances before Rafael replaced the attack of his team and opened the scoring.
Münchengladbach returned to second place seven points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund, who beat Schalke 2-1 at the top of the Ruhr on Saturday.
Bayern Munich, who won 3-0 at Nuremberg on Saturday, is third with 27 points, two points behind Mönchengladbach.
