MADRID (Reuters) – Spanish international striker Rodrigo Moreno is preparing to leave Valencia for Atletico Madrid and qualify for the Spanish champions.
According to the Spanish "AS" newspaper, Atletico "has reached an agreement with Valencia for an amount of 55 million euros, in addition to 5 million premiums."
The 28-year-old forward said goodbye to his teammates and did not participate in the team's training on Tuesday.
Moreno joined Valencia five years ago from Benfica and brought him in May to win the Spanish Cup against defending champion Barcelona 2-1 by scoring his second goal.
He has also defended Spain in 18 international matches and participated in the 2018 FIFA World Cup Russia ™.
