Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho was sentenced to one year in prison for pleading guilty in a tax evasion case in Spain.
A Spanish court said Tuesday that the Portuguese coach would not be liable to any prison term after the prison's replacement by a fine.
Spanish prosecutors said that Mourinho, 56, had not disclosed his income from the sale of property rights on his tax return in 2011 and 2012, while he was training Real Madrid, "for the purpose of grafting it".
