CAIRO: Master Vand Limited of My Capital Partners has increased its stake in Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding Co. to 5%.
The company said in a statement to the Egyptian Stock Exchange on Thursday that My Capital Partners Master had bought about 96,200 shares of Egyptian Kuwaiti Holding, bringing its share from 4.99% to 5.01%.
She added that the total value of the transaction was 115,922,000 pounds, an average purchase price of 1.2 pounds per share.
The group's interest in My Capital Capital Master Limited is 0.17% and that of Capital Performance Plus Master Vand Limited is 0.05%.
The company reported net income of $ 28.79 million between early January and late March, up from $ 25.37 million for the same period last year, including minority interests.
Revenues for the three months reached $ 134.89 million at the end of March, up from $ 112.87 million for the same period last year.
The net income of the company for the same period was $ 8.36 million in the first quarter of 2019, compared to $ 2.8 million in the same quarter of the previous year.
