Nadal sweeps Medvedev and wins his 35th Masters title

Spain's Rafael Nadal won the Masters Masters title with a Rogers Cup 1,000 points after defeating Russia's Daniel Medvedev in Sunday's final.

The world number two took an hour and 11 minutes to settle for him 6-3 6-0.

This is the fifth consecutive title of the Canadian Matador to badociate with the Serbian Novak Djokovic, who won the last title in 2016 at the expense of the Japanese Nishikori.

Rafa also raised his Masters total to 35 titles, two more than Noli and seven behind Roger Federer.

Nadal added his third title this season after Roland Garros and Rome Masters.
