The African Football Confederation (CAF) announced the African Footballer 's trophy of the year 2018, which included Egyptian Mohamed Salah, his Senegalese teammate Sadio Mani and Pierre Emeric Obamyang of Arsenal.
Last year, the trio competed before Mohammed Salah was crowned.
Lamani has never won the prize, and Obameyang won it in 2015.
The winner will be announced at a ceremony in Dakar, the Senegalese capital, on January 8th.
