The Portuguese Deportivo de Avis has signed a contract with Zamalek striker Mahmoud Abdel-Moneim for a free transfer from two seasons until June 2021.
"Electra is our new player, he signed a two-year contract and joined us at the request of coach Augusto Inacio," said the Portuguese club in a statement posted on its website.
Inaccio had previously supervised Zamalek's training between April and July 2017, while he was on loan to Al Ittihad Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The Portuguese striker pointed out that the Egyptian striker had scored 13 goals in 41 games last season.
Zamalek refused to send the international card to the player due to his suspension of training.
Abdel Moneim, 25, started his career at ENPI before playing two games in Europe with Lucerne and Grbadhoppers in the Swiss League, before returning to Zamalek, who played for him before joining Jeddah for two seasons in ready, He then returned to the white castle.
