Alawyet Jameel was born on December 15, 1910 and studied at the Sisters School in Alexandria. She did a unique television work, "The Black Cat", with her husband Mahmoud El-Meligy.
In 1967, after the setback, she withdrew from art and public life. He was known for his good relations with his fellow citizens. After the victory of October 1973, she reappeared in public life and did not return to the art until after her death, in 1994. She left three sons, Jamal, Marsa and Isis, of her first husband.
