The Financial Times quotes sources close to Russian billionaire Alisher Osmanov, claiming that he plans to sell his 30% stake in Arsenal.

The newspaper quoted the same sources as saying that the Russian businessman is becoming more and more frustrated because majority shareholder Stan Kronki does not want to enter into reopening negotiations, which makes Osmanov hopeless to buy all the club shares.

Osmanov had already offered a $ 1.3 billion offer to acquire Kronki's participation in the English club.

But the UK's Kronki Sports and Entertainment group has confirmed that its shares in the English club are not for sale.

Chelsea owner Oskmanov and Roman Abramovich are among the most prominent figures of the Russian elite clbad living in London.

Arsenal finished last season in frustrating sixth place, unable to qualify for the Champions League qualifiers, in addition to the departure of French coach Arsene Wenger after 22 years at the club. The former Paris Saint-Germain coach has been appointed by Arsenal's Onai Imre as an alternative.
