Paris St Germain will miss the services of Brazilian star Neymar da Silva in the Champions League final against Manchester United on February 12 at Old Trafford due to a new injury to his right foot.
The Brazilian doctor, Rodrigo Asmar, will arrive later in the French capital, Paris, to check the state of the player, who also today received the director of the "Seleção", Adinor Leonardo Bachi & Titi.
The 26-year-old was again injured in his team's 2-0 win over Strasbourg on Wednesday, leaving tears in the stadium.
The club said the next day that the preliminary tests had revealed the renewal of his injury, which had put him out of action for most of last season, insisting that it was not necessary exclude any possibility, with reference to the possibility of a new surgical procedure.
Neymar's new injury, about a year after his first injury in February, forced him to undergo surgery and prevented him from playing until the 2018 World Cup.
