The Syndicate of Pharmacists of Alexandria described the statements of Dr. Hala Zayed, Minister of Health and Population, at the Port Said Health Insurance Center, described as "insulting" to the pharmacists, in which she tried to reduce the role of the pharmacist, causing a major crisis in the health system. It is a case of condemnation by a State official who must support all the heads of the health system, especially since the State is carrying out national projects in the field of health, at the service of the citizens and the respect of all those responsible.

The union asked Dr. Mustapha Medbouli, prime minister, to intervene immediately and referred to "the unrest" of public opinion and the quarter of a million pharmacists, as well as a statewide tension between the pillars of the health system, stressing that the minister's statements are the responsibility of the state and the policies of their institutions, the official is aware of what he said to maintain the prestige
