MADRID (Reuters) – Barcelona defender Gerard Pique was out of the friendly against Japan's Vesel Kobe on Saturday, due to a left thigh injury, the club said on Friday.

The Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde, had said at the previous press conference that Pique could be missing from tomorrow's match.
"Pique is likely to be cautious," said Valverde.
