He added that the deceased artist had asked to leave his funeral of the Saidi mosque, located in his hometown, where were the body of his father and his older brother, "Jalal".
Al-Feshawi's nephew said that the artist had last visited his hometown almost two years ago and that he had remained in the city for three days in which he had received condolences on the death of his brother. After the end of the three days, he returned to Cairo. "My uncle loved the country and the land, and was always there to sit in the ground and wear dresses."
Gamal Sayed, one of the family's neighbors of the deceased artist, said: "Al-Fishawi was a good man in the sense of the word and always communicated with the city's charity committees to help orphans and widows.
"Farouk al-Fishawi sent money to a number of people in town without anyone knowing what he was doing.
He pointed out that the artist was loved by all the inhabitants of the city, adding: "We lost the link by his departure."
