The consolidated financial statements of Juhaina Food Industries Company (JUFO) decreased by 24.65% compared to the first half of this year.
The company posted a net profit of 179.64 million Egyptian pounds during the period, compared to a net profit of 238.42 million Egyptian pounds in the same period last year.
The cost of sales in the first half increased by 7.17% to 2.597 billion pounds, against 2.424 billion pounds for the same period of 2018.
On the independent list, profits rose 60.56% to 130.44 million EGP in the first half, compared with 81.24 million EGP in the same period last year.
Juhaina posted a profit of 71.61 million pounds in the quarter ended March, against a profit of 80.72 million pounds in the same quarter in 2018, including minority interests.
Juhaina sales reached 1.7 billion Egyptian pounds in the first quarter of this year, compared with 1.55 billion Egyptian pounds in the same quarter last year.
