"Rabies is a very serious disease and, unlike any other disease, if it is infected by a person with clinical signs, it will never heal," said veterinarian Kawthar al-Oqaili, present Friday, January 4 2018.
The veterinarian has confirmed that no medicine can save people infected with this disease, noting that vaccination remains the most effective prevention solution.
Kawther al-Aqili explained that anyone infected with a rabies virus animal should go to the nearest center for the necessary vaccination.
She explained that all animals were rabies, noting that dogs were the main carriers of rabies in Tunisia (bats in America, foxes in France ..), pointing out that the infection was transmitted from man to animal through open wounds.
