World number one Albert Ramos Vinealos (85) won his second professional title by defeating German outsiders Cedric Marcel Schteppe (6), 6-3, 6-2 in the final of the German Open tennis tournament in Gstaad.
Veteran Ramos Vinnulas, 31, has waited three years to add the second title to his record, after the first of the Swedish tournament Pestad in July 2016 at the expense of his compatriot Fernando Verdasco.
Ramos Viniolas, who reached the seventh final of his professional career, surpbaded Pablo Andokhar, 2014 champion in the semifinals.
The 28-year-old, who had to play two games against Italy's Tomas Fabiano in the quarter-finals and Joao Sosa in the semifinals, did not win the first title in his first career final.
