Moscow's Spartak lost to Rapid Vienna 2-1 in Group E on Thursday in the fifth group stage of the European Football League.
The goal of Moscow was scored by striker Zi Loich of Cabo Verdi (Cape Verde), in the 20th minute of the first period.
However, the Austrian team managed to tip the balance in its favor by scoring two consecutive goals from Turkish defender Mert Mulder and midfielder Philippe Schweisberger, respectively in the minutes (80 and 90).
After the victory, Rapid Vienna climbed to the top of Group G with 7 points, ahead of Spain's Villarreal, who will face Glasgow Rangers third place in 5 points later in the day.
While the Moscow Spartak, 5 points, slipped to fourth place on the table.
