Swedish rapper Asap Rocky was sentenced to a suspended prison sentence after being found guilty of violence during a street battle in Stockholm in late June.

Rocky and two close badociates were convicted of "violence and suspended sentence", according to the Stockholm court's ruling. They "badaulted and kicked the victim on the ground".

They must pay a total of 12,500 crowns (1,200 euros) on vacation and in damages to the victim.

The 30-year-old singer was arrested on June 30 at the end of a fight in a street in the Swedish capital and jailed for fear of fleeing abroad.

His case severely tested relations between the United States and Sweden. At the end of July, US President Donald Trump accused Stockholm of despising the fate of black Americans and sentenced his special envoy for hostages, Robert O. Brien.

Assab Rocky was released on August 2 at the end of a three-day trial that was sent back to the United States in a private jet. He was not present when reciting his sentence today.

Asap Rocky, on Sunday, gave a concert at the Real Street Festival in Anaheim, California.
