MADRID (Reuters) – Real Madrid on Friday announced the development of the injury of the new Belgian star Eden Hazard.
According to the official website of Real Madrid, Eden Hazard underwent medical tests that proved that he was suffering from a muscle injury to the thigh, stressing that the technical staff is waiting for the latest developments regarding his condition.
According to the Spanish newspaper Marca, Hazard will miss the opening match of Real Madrid in the "Liga" against Celta Vigo on Saturday, and could be a period of absence of three weeks to a month.
Hazard has joined Real Madrid since Chelsea for a contract of more than 100 million euros.
