London– Nobody thought that the chicken was well fried, but most people found that it was acceptable to eat it at the same time. But according to new research, eating fried chicken regularly increases the risk of premature death.
The study, published in the prestigious journal Nature Review Journal, found that fried food consumption was badociated with an increased risk of premature death in postmenopausal women.
The researchers used questionnaire data to evaluate the diets of 106,966 women aged 50 to 79 years and were followed for 18 years until February 2017.
Researchers looked at the number of times they ate fried foods such as fried chicken, fried fish, fried oysters, French fries, tortillas and tacos.
During this period, 3,588 women died, just 8,358 people died of heart disease, while 1,880 women died from other causes.
