Ronaldo's mother enters the line "rape scandal": I know my son well

Dolores Aveiro, the mother of Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, has entered the rape scandal for the first time, following her son, the Sun newspaper reported.

A month ago, an investigation was opened in Las Vegas, USA, for raping former model Katherine Mayorga, 34, against Ronaldo, following an incident on the 13th. June 2009.

"I have full confidence in my son, I know him very well," said the mother to Juventus, according to the same source. "Catherine did not go to my son's room to play cards."

Abeiro, who now spends most of his time in Madeira, Portugal, expressed his support for his son by posting a photo of Ronaldo on his social media accounts, bearing the label "We are with you".

"I want to see who has the courage to put this photo on his personal account for a week, for him, for us, for Portugal and for justice," she said.

Nevada police officially asked the Italian authorities to obtain a DNA sample from the former Real Madrid player as part of the Malloran rape investigation.

Juventus firmly denies Katherine's rape nine years ago, describing his allegations against him as false news.

His lawyer in Las Vegas said in a previous statement that the bad on the charge was "consensual".
