LONDON (Reuters) – Wayne Rooney joined DC United in January. The former English captain will continue his career in pursuit of training, announced Tuesday the second division derby.

In a mbadive contract for Derby, Rooney, 33, signed an initial 18-month contract with a one-year extension option. He will also serve as coach and club academy.
