The Ministry of Health and Population announced the execution of 271 kg of food unfit for human consumption, dilapidated vases, as well as the performance of 17 liters of preheated oil and recommended the suspension of the operation of seven facilities that pose a serious threat to public health.
This happened during a campaign launched by the ministry on a chain of reputed restaurants in the provinces of "Cairo, Giza, Alexandria".
A total of 47 restaurants were inspected and 47 food samples sent and badyzed for the laboratories of the Ministry of Health and Population. Twenty-two health offenses have been made public.
