LONDON (Reuters) – Manchester United star Mohamed Salah surpbaded his Belgian rival Eden Hazard, who was the best in the English Premier League, said Tuesday former Chelsea midfielder Craig Berley.
The former Chelsea midfielder qualified the English Premier League from best to worst, and Berley chose Salah in fourth place before Hazard, who finished fifth.
"I think his performance has been better lately, but earlier this season he missed a lot of opportunities," he said.
"We did not see the glamor of last year and we expected it to be difficult," he said.
"But he started to recover last season, he has been great in recent weeks."
"Allison, second in my lineup, plays a leading role in Liverpool, and I know he made a big mistake at Manchester United, but he's been doing well since the league started."
"For Van Dyke, he is the Rock at the back of the Reds and, thanks to him, Liverpool is at the top of the Premiership."
"Yes, there are good players like Salah, Ferdinando and Sadio Mani, but it's not about attackers or targets."
Liverpool leads the English Premier League standings with 45 points, one point behind Manchester City and the finalist.
Liverpool will face Wolverhampton on Sunday during the 18th round of the English Premier League.
