Samsung beats Huawei and Apple at faster download speeds

According to a new OpenSignal report covering 40 countries worldwide and thousands of devices, Samsung phones have higher speeds on the 4G LTE network compared to companies like Huawei and Apple.

OpenSignal researchers found that Samsung devices were faster in 14 markets, including the United States, where the download speed of the South Korean company was 8.2 Mbps compared to the previous year. iPhone, and Norway, where Samsung users were 12 Mbps. Than Huawei users, and 14 Mbps faster than iPhone users.

IPhones were the fastest in the United Arab Emirates and Taiwan, where iPhone surpbaded 14.7 Mbps and 8 Mbps, respectively, compared to Samsung's competitors. Users in Canada and Singapore recorded download speeds of 67.1 Mbps and 65.4 Mbps, ranking second and third respectively behind South Korea.

Siding Smartphone Segmentation, Samsung is the leader in the high-end smartphone market with global download speeds of up to 26.6 Mbps, while Apple is among the leaders Mid-range phones with download speeds of up to 16.5 Mbps.
