Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Minister of Energy, Industry and Mineral Wealth unveiled Friday a meeting with his Russian counterpart, Alexander Novak.
"Yesterday I visited Russia and met with Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak," Minister Khalid al-Faleh said in a tweet on his official Twitter account.
"We discussed the Russian-Saudi partnership process since the historic visit in 2017 of the guardian of the two holy mosques in Russia and the preparations for the visit of President Putin to the Kingdom,.
"We confirm that we will continue to hold these meetings and dialogues between our two countries to ensure further progress, partnership, investment development and mutual trade," he said.
"We confirmed that we would maintain a firm commitment to the production reduction agreement until the end of the first quarter of 2020 in order to restore the world's natural oil reserves to their natural level" said Al-Falih, referring to his talks with the Russian side on the oil markets..
