Screening of 197,000 women in local units as part of the Women's Health Support Initiative

Major General Gamal Noureddine, Governor of Assiut, said that the National Initiative for the Detection of Women's Health, under the slogan "Six Egyptians is the Health of Egypt", is a continuation of the initiative of 100 million people who witness an increase in the number of frequent visitors to health units. In the centers and districts of the province, 197,000 and 414 Assyrian women have been affected since the beginning of the initiative.

The Governor of Assiut indicated that the governorate, in coordination with the Directorate of Health, is launching its daily monitoring and follow-up campaigns of the initiative in different villages and hamlets, in stressing the eventual support and elimination of all obstacles preventing citizens from accessing these health units, stressing that the campaign targeted women under 18 years of age. Organize educational seminars to sensitize women and girls to health, including on how to periodically review the bad and on the importance of proper nutrition to reduce weight gain and protection against diseases, emphasizing coordination with all relevant bodies of service directorates and local units, as well as the National Council for Women and the Health Directorate to hold regular meetings to raise awareness of the importance campaign, calling on women to go out and participate in the campaign to check their health and health units in villages and central hospitals praised the role provided by the Southern Cancer Institute's Egypt in the treatment of cases that have been transforming them.

Mohamed Zein, undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Assiut, explained that the presidential campaign aimed to examine one million and 327,000 women in the governorate, where it operates in 154 health units, including 154 integrated medical teams consisting of ( a doctor and nurse for professional data entry; and a nurse for pressure, weight, height and family care). The initiative has a total of 616 physicians, nurses and pioneers other than the Branch and Departmental Supervision Team, who work from 9 am to 3 pm on working days, excluding statutory holidays.

Dr. Osama Hijazi, general manager of basic care and preventive medicine at the Health Directorate and supervisor of the initiative, said that the total number of visitors to this initiative rose to 197,414 women and that the total number of those examined and trained was 77,963, while the number of references to the Institute of South Egypt Oncology 8408 lady.
