The Minister of Health said that the search for victims of the explosion occurred at the Institute of Oncology of Cairo, in the waters of the Nile in front of the Institute, continued to first hours of Monday morning.

The health minister announced the death of 17 people and wounded 32 others during the explosion of the Institute of Oncology.

"Five cases are critical in intensive care and the others are moderately to moderate," the minister told Exeter News.

The wounded were evacuated to the Nbader Institute immediately after paying about 42 ambulances.

The Interior Ministry has revealed the circumstances of the explosion occurred near the Institute of Oncology Manial.

A security source said that when a speeding motor vehicle had accidentally reversed the direction of Corniche Nile Street in front of the Oncology Institute of Sayeda Zeinab Police Station, he had struck three cars, causing an explosion at the following the collision.

Attorney General Nabil Ahmed Sadiq has ordered the transfer of a team of prosecutors from south Cairo to the site of the explosion that occurred in front of the Institute of Oncology of Al-Qasr Al-Aini region and carry out the necessary inspections to determine the causes and explain the unfolding of the accident.
