Video: Look what's happening at Beirut airport
Jafar Abdelkarim shared his followers on Twitter with a video shot of the Beirut airport. The video documents the great congestion at the airport.
Abdel Karim sent a letter to the Ministry of the Interior, Raya Al-Hbadan, saying that she had confirmed a few weeks ago that the procedures at the airport would proceed more quickly.
Abdul Karim said the traveler had to get up Monday to wait three hours before crossing the first security point, wondering: "Why".
Abdul Karim is not the only one to complain about airport congestion during this period coinciding with Eid al-Adha. Other activists have also released images showing the large number of pbadengers.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation asked pbadengers to go to the airport four hours before the scheduled flight time.
