The Beirut Criminal Court, chaired by Judge Tariq al-Bitar, and advisers Muhammad Shehab and Fatima Majid, sentenced Syrian Ayman Ramo to death for the murder of his friend Ghayath Raslan at the Nahr – Charles Malik intersection on 28/06/2018, and also ordered him to pay damages of fifty million Lebanese pounds.

In 2017, they settled in a part of an abandoned building in Nahr al-Nahr, near the Peugeot company, where a large number of Syrian workers, displaced persons and families live, including Mohammed S. and his daughters.

Later, things developed between Ayman and Mona, one of the family's daughters, in a romantic relationship and then discovered that a similar relationship between Mona and her friend Ghiath were tangled up in the room where they lived and developed. in a form in which Ayman sank ferociously and successively on Ghayath's head and on his face. Khafan, "which resulted in the injury of the latter, fracture of the forehead, nose and face, as well as the lack of consciousness and death shortly after, according to the report of the coroner who examined the body.

After the clashes, Ayman found Ghayath's body and was still alive in an abandoned adjoining room and escaped to the locality of al-Awza'i. Syrian witness Ahmed al-Kaata, who also went to the same building because of his relationship with Mona, found the body decomposed after finding his blood. He felt an unpleasant odor and he quickly informed one of his friends who had contacted a member of the Information Division and informed him.

On 10/7/2018, an information patrol was able to lure the defendant into the locality of Cola where he was arrested and referred to the competent judicial authority.
