MELBOURNE (Reuters) – Serena Williams surprised the uprising of world number one, Simona Halib, to win a 6-1, 4-6, 6-4 victory at the Australian Open on Monday.
Halib broke Serena's lead in the first half, but that's all she could get in the first set, putting an end to the US Grand Prix at 23 men in 20. minutes.
