Smart skin to help burn victims

A group of scientists from the University of Mansfield in the United States is working to create a new intelligent skin that works on artificial intelligence and helps people with burns to experience a new sensation.

With this technique, the person burned will feel the same feeling of pressure, heat, cold and other external factors.

This technique works through silicon tubes filled with a fluid composed of nanoparticles, wrapped in a copper wire.

When the person is subjected to one of the external senses of the fluid, the fluid in these pipes is displaced, resulting in contraction, the electric current sent to the copper wires as an electrical signal and generates a feeling sensation.

Human skin is not able to feel everything, even if it contains all the detection mechanisms.
