Dutchman Wesley Snyder has announced his retirement from football, preferring his family and personal life to be watched by matches, according to international media reports.
Schneider has confirmed the official website of the club in his hometown, Utrecht, where he has decided to rent one of the rooms of the Galgenvard stadium to follow his team's matches during the 2019-2020 season.
"My feelings for the city are great, now that I stop playing football, I want to be able to share my memories with a good place," said Schneider, who won 134 caps.
Snyder, 35, said he wanted to enjoy his time and watch matches in Utrecht after stopping football.
Sneijder has played for several major clubs including Real Madrid and Inter Milan. He began his professional career with Ajax and sealed him as a player at Al Gharafa.
Snyder won the Champions League with the Inter 2010 and Italian Serie A and reached the World Cup final with the Netherlands the same year, but did not win the Ball of the Year. 39; gold.
