Books – Assem Al-Ansari:
US regulators have allowed Google Inc. to begin using a new technology called Solly, a sensor for manual hand movement using radar.
The Federal Communications Commission said in a statement that it would allow "Google" to exploit "Soli" sensors with higher energy levels than those currently allowed.
The sensors can also be used on board aircraft, but must comply with the United States Federal Aviation Administration's regulations governing portable electronic devices, she said.
He added that the decision would serve the public interest by providing innovative specifications for the control of devices using manual contactless tracking technology.
According to the Russian news agency "Sputnik", the Federal Communications Commission reported that Soli sensors captured movements in the three-dimensional field. The use of a radar beam to allow the user to control without touching the execution of tasks can benefit people with movement difficulties or bad speech.
According to Google, sensors can allow users to insert an invisible button between the thumb and index or manage a virtual disk running by touching the thumb of the index.
Moreover, although these controls are hypothetical, the meaning of the interactions is felt through the reaction generated by the touch of the fingers.
According to "Google", virtual tools can approach the accuracy of normal movement of the human hand and it is possible to install sensors in portable devices, phones, computers and vehicles.
