Parallel to the heat wave that swept through many countries around the world, Sony unveiled a small cooling device that can be worn and used as a portable air conditioner.
The price of the device, dubbed "Rayon Packet", ranges from 117 to 174 USD. It will be marketed in March next year.
The device is the size of a credit card and, in addition to cooling the body in summer, it can also warm you in the winter.
Sony has stated that the device is Bluetooth enabled, that it is controlled by a mobile phone and that it has a lithium-ion battery that can last 24 hours without interruption.
The portable cooling device is placed in a pocket specifically designed for the shirt, at the top of the person's back.
Sony said the device was able to reduce the body temperature of the user by 13 degrees Celsius or increase by eight degrees Celsius.
