In a new scientific research, scientists have found that the average number of bacteria on mobile phones can reach 7 times the average number of bacteria in toilets.
According to the British newspaper "Daily Mail", Scottish researchers from Aberdeen University, plastic smart phones that you think clean, contain folds of bacteria in the toilet seat.
However, a survey of office staff found that two out of five people were carrying their phones to the bathroom. To confirm the results, the researchers took samples of a company's smartphones to help a projector detecting live microbes on the surface of them.
The researchers explained that the seat of the toilet, detected by the optical device, contained 220 bright spots of bacteria, and that it is strange, the average mobile phone was 1479.
New research has revealed that phones become very dirty because they are driven into the bathroom. They are therefore exposed to the same germs as the handles and seats of the bathroom, which explains the increase in the number of bacteria on smartphones.
