"The ministry has developed a follow-up and preparedness plan with the World Health Organization to prevent the transmission of Ebola virus disease in Sudan.

"We are monitoring the situation in southern Sudan," he said Monday at a press conference at the ministry's headquarters in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).

I note that there are preparations for air and ground crossing points and entry points with the border states of Southern Sudan, Khartoum and Port Sudan to ensure that no case of injury is recorded.

He explained that the ministry had started planning and monitoring and that he was planning to fight the disease when he was leaving southern Sudan or neighboring African countries to settle in Sudan.

"Preparing to fight Ebiola is very expensive," he said.
