Sunday is the first day of Eid al-Adha

Dar al-Fatwa said that standing at 'Arafah' on the 9th of Dhul Hijjah coincides with the 10th of August, and so the tenth Sunday of the month of Dhul Hijjah being 1440 AH is the first day of Eid al-Adha, which corresponds to August 11, 2019..

She congratulated the Muslims in general for this blessed Eid and asked God to return it to them, as well as to all the Lebanese, in a climate of security, peace and stability.
