Syrian coach Bernd Stange was sacked and Ibrahim Ibrahim replaced him

DAMASCUS, (SANA) – Syrian coach Bernd Stange has been sacked by Syrian media and Syrian coach Fajr Ibrahim has been replaced for the final against Australia.

The Syrian team lost in the match against Jordan today with two consecutive goals, which officially led to the second round, after the group finished with 6 points.

While the Syrian team is stuck at one point with Palestine, it is currently replacing the Australian team in last place with zero points.

The Syrian side still have one game to play against Australia, where the Syrian team must win to find hope of reaching the second round of the Asian Cup.
