Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Jordan's Alnchami defeated their Syrian counterpart on Thursday with two unanswered goals, and booked a place for the knockout stages of the UAE's Asian Cup of Nations.
In the 26th minute of the match, the Jordanian team scored their first goal thanks to the player Moussa Al-Tamimi.
Tariq Khattab raised the score to 2-0 in the 43rd minute. Al-Nashami had won his first match against Australia, with Syria scoring 6 points.
The Syrian team stopped at one point after their draw against the Palestinians in the first match of the Asian Cup.
According to Jordan's Royal Court via Twitter, Jordan's King Abdullah II and his Crown Prince, Crown Prince Al Hussein, continued their country's match with Syria by welcoming "home worker" Khalid Al-Shomali.
