The Arab world attests to a partial loss of the moon

Several Arab countries are witnessing a partial destruction of the moon Tuesday night.

According to the astronomical calculations of the annual astronomical index of the National Institute of Astronomical and Geophysical Research, all stages of the eclipse are about five hours and thirty-eight minutes, according to the media.

The astrological phenomenon, which is not repeated four years ago, began Wednesday in the United Arab Emirates after 12 hours, on the Twitter account of the International Center for Astronomy.

In Saudi Arabia, activists have released images of the beginning of the eclipse in the kingdom.

In Egypt, the National Institute for Astronomical and Geophysical Research opened its doors Tuesday evening for all social groups of specialists, amateurs and interested in monitoring the phenomenon.

All stages of the eclipse from the beginning to the end of the duration of about five hours and thirty-eight minutes and the timing chosen for the eclipse coincide with the end of the month of Dhul Qadah 1440 Ah Badra.
