The celebration of the 74th Army Day, convened by the Commander of the Army, General Joseph Aoun, began at the Shokri Ghanem barracks in Fayyadiyah with the arrival of the flag of 39. Lebanese army in the presence of President Michel Aoun, President Nabih Berri and Prime Minister Saad Hariri.

Defense Minister Elias Bou Saab read the promotion of officers.

Later, President Aoun handed the swords to the officers after their promotion to the rank of lieutenant colonel.
