The Meteorological Institute of the National Institute for Astronomical Research announced that the phenomenon of "twin" meteors would start from midnight until tomorrow, pointing out that meteorites are one of the best showers of the year, with a number of 120 hour.
In a detailed statement, the institute said that the meteors were named as twins because they fell as if they came from the twin constellation Gemini, caused by the debris of an asteroid called 3200 Feithon orbiting the Sun, discovered in 1982.
The institute said the Shahabis are seen every year from December 7 to 17, culminating this year on the night of the 13th to the eve of December 14th. Clouds, dust and water vapor.
