The World Health Organization (WHO) has announced the death toll of the bombing against an immigrant shelter near the Libyan capital at 53.
A Libyan medical official said Wednesday that a bomb hit a detention center for illegal immigrants, mainly Africans, in the suburbs of Tajoura, 11 km from the Libyan capital, Tripoli, leaving 40 dead and 80 injured.
Al-Wefaq brigades accused the Libyan army of targeting migrants. A military source told Al-Arabiya that shells fell on the center of brigades stationed in the region, to mislead public opinion after his defeat on Tuesday.
