French boxer Christophe Deteninger went to the police on Saturday after beating security forces in yellow jackets in Paris.
Police had previously issued a warrant for arrest against Christoph Dietinger for beating two members of the security forces.
Former boxer Christoph Dettinger, France's heavyweight champion in 2007 and 2008, beat two police officers on Saturday in flagrante delicto, as he was inside the ring. The local press announced the news after a videotape showing the boxer attacking security agents.
Before going to himself, the former boxer published on Facebook a tape explaining why he had beaten the police.
"He was beaten by the police at a time of intense anger and indignation after he and his wife were subjected to tear gas and police violence," said Christoph Detinger.
